This Thursday, August 27th at 18:45, Maccabi Tel Aviv will take part in the Champions League draw after successfully navigating the three qualifying rounds. Maccabi will now compete with the biggest and the best teams in Europe and tomorrow we will know just who exactly the Yellow-and-Blue will face on their European journey.
Maccabi will be in the fourth and final pot where every team that they will be drawn against will have a higher European ranking. The clubs that Maccabi may be drawn against are some of the top names not only European football but from around the globe. The final list of teams the Yellow-and-Blue could play will only be available later this evening after the final playoff qualifying round matches but here are the teams in the first pot to get you started.
Pot 1: Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Benfica, Paris St-Germain, Zenit Saint Petersburg and PSV Eindhoven.
The most attractive clubs to be drawn against would be Barca or Chelsea, a return match with Bayern, Juve or PSG would be interesting or an "easy" opponent in Benfica, Zenit or PSV could be fun too!
Who do YOU want Maccabi to face?
