The Champions League Group Stage draw for the 2015/16 season will take place later today, Thursday at 18:45 Israel Time in Monaco. Owner Mitch Goldhar, CEO Martin Bain, Sporting Director Jordi Cruyff and Assistant CEO Ariel Avram will all be on hand representing Maccabi Tel Aviv at the draw which the club will be participating in for the first time in 11 years.
Yesterday, you the supporters chose which team you would like to see Maccabi take on from the clubs available in Pot 1 and the overwhelming response was the current European Champions Barcelona receiving 52% of your support. Next was the Dutch Champion PSV garnering 18% of your support while Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Juventus were not far behind. The least popular side was Benfica amongst the Pot 1 options.
Now it's your turn once again to choose which team from Pot 2 you would like to see play the Yellow-and-Blue. What would you rather, a trip to the Bernabeu, a quick hop across the pond to the Theatre of Dreams or one of the other great stadiums in Europe?
Pot 2: Real Madrid, Manchester United, Athletico Madrid, Porto, Arsenal, Valencia, Manchester City, Bayer Leverkusen.
