Maccabi Tel Aviv FC have finalized the transfer of Barak Badash to Hapoel Raanana
Sporting Director Jordi Cruyff said to the Official Website: "It's always difficult to say goodbye to a player like Barak Badash who had an extremely high work rate and was very popular with his friends and teammates at Maccabi and with the supporters. Badash will be remembered as a player who scored some very important goals and one that always supported his teammates if he was or wasn't playing. He's one of the professional players that any club would want and Maccabi Tel Aviv would like to thank him for all of his contributions both on and off of the pitch."
Badash commented to the Official Website: "I'm ending a chapter of my life today after playing almost two years with Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and during that time I was able to be part of winning many titles and advancing to the Champions League group stages. I will never forget all of the great experiences I had at Maccabi Tel Aviv. I worked with amazing people and it was a privilege to work with them and learn from them. The love that the Maccabi supporters gave me was an experience in itself and I am grateful to each and every one of them. On one hand it's sad that in professional football some doors close but others do open up and I'm about to embark on a new chapter of my career as this week I will turn 33 years old."
Badash joined Maccabi in the middle of the 2013/14 season and played in 45 matches throughout all competitions where he scored 11 goals and assisted on five others. Badash was part of the historical Treble year under coach Pako Ayesratan and also won the title in his first season with the club under Paulo Sousa.
