Nick Blackman, the Yellow & Blue striker looked ahead to tomorrow night’s Israel Premier League match at Maccabi Petah Tikva at the Moshava Stadium, 21:00. The Englishman spoke about his goal in the Europa League, his contract at Maccabi and what the club needs to do to be successful:
“The team just has to continue to work. We have a great coaching staff and manager and I believe that we’ll win the games that we have to.”
Contract status:
“My contract is for this season and my goal is to make Maccabi successful this season and all the rest will be spoken about after the season.”
Scoring against Villarreal:
“It was a good moment and good team performance and we want to take that into the league. It was a great opportunity to play in the Europa League and it was great to have that chance. Many players would like to have that opportunity.”
Sharing the wealth:
“I think it’s important that the goals are shared throughout the team and not just a couple of players. The more who can score the better.”
