Even before Maccabi Tel Aviv faces Pyunik on Tuesday in the first leg of third round Europa League qualifying, the Yellow & Blue will be part of the Playoff Round Draw on Monday where they will find out who their potential opponent will be should they advance.

Maccabi will be a part of the Main Path draw and due to their coefficient that has been accumulated over the past number of seasons, the Yellow & Blue will be seeded for the Playoff Round should they eliminate Pyunik.
On Saturday, UEFA narrowed down the possible opponents that will be part of the draw and it was determined that Maccabi or Pyunik will play the winner of one of the following ties:
Sarpsborg (NOR) v HNK Rijeka (CRO)
Nordsjælland (DEN) v Partizan (SRB)
Mariupol (UKR) v Bordeaux (FRA)
Sigma Olomouc (CZE) v Kairat Almaty (KAZ)
