Noam Cohen, 20, extended his contract at Maccabi until the end of the 2021/22 before joining Sektzia Nes Ziona on a one-year-loan deal after an agreement was reached between the two clubs.
Maccabi Tel Aviv’s CEO, Ben Mansford, told the club’s official website: “Noam has impressed everyone at the Club with his attitude and quality during the last two months and we are delighted that he has extended his contract with Maccabi for another season and will now join up with Nes Ziona on loan. Noam was an important part of the Under-19 Championship winning team in 17/18 and represented Israel at Under-21 level last season. Noam has shown over the last few weeks that he has the Maccabi DNA and we look forward to seeing him play in the top flight this season”.
Cohen, made 34 appearances in all competitions while on loan at Beitar Tel Aviv Ramle last season and made 3 appearances for Israel’s U-21’s as well as 31 appearances for the young national teams.
