Maccabi Tel Aviv retuened returned from the capital tonight (Monday) with a point after being held to a 0-0 draw by Beitar Jeruslem.
Dor Peretz summed up the match and said: “We can not keep on looking like that. Maccabi Tel Aviv can’t afford to look the way we looked in this game. I am very disapointed with the performance of both myself and that of my team mates as well as the way in which we arrived for this match. We didn’t look hungry, we were not aggressive and not committed. We need to look much better, like Maccabi Tel Aviv should look, like a championship winning side. We are footballers and we have a chance already on Thursday to look much better and in the game against Kiryat Shmona to play well and gradually restore our deterrent force. For the moment, the way I see it, it all depends on us. I am feeling that we are our biggest enemy right now”.
