Eran Zahavi who became the leading scorer in Tel Aviv derbies with his late second goal on the way to an emphatic 3-0 victory over Hapoel Tel Aviv insisted after the match: “I try to do my best on the pitch and in training. At the end of the day this is a long marathon as the most important thing is not to let any bit of criticism deflect me from my way of hard work and professionalism. My job is to do what my coach is asking from me and to make my teammates better. My job is to to give my absolute best yet sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I can only control the way in which I come every day and try and improve to be the best I possibly can. As for the other things, I don’t tend to be phased by this critic or the other.
