Three days after the 2-0 defeat at Be’ersheva and two days before hosting newly promoted side Sektzia Ness Ziona at Bloomfield, Shahar Piven spoke ahead of the match. The 27-year-old defender who watched his teammates from the stands at Turner stadium, shared some of the feelings in the dressing room: “As a big club we don’t like losing or take it lightly. We analyze defeats in a serious way, work harder in training which is not a cliché. Even those who play less than others knows that this is a good chance to gat back in business. In the same way we don’t look at victories and glorify them we don’t knock ourselves down after defeats. We must learn from this match, there are plenty of matches and points still left to play for as we hope to return to winning ways in two days time and move on. This is the nature of sport”.

Piven, who featured this campaign in seven league matches, added: “Our work is to give our 100% and focus each one of his job. I expect this to happen already on Saturday – that we will restore of aggressiveness and determination. To collect the three points and return to winning ways”.
