Ofir Davidzada will remain a Maccabi Tel Aviv player for a seventh season after the left-back signed a new deal until the end of the 2023/24 campaign with an option to extend by a further season.
Davidzada (32), who joined Maccabi in the summer of 2017 scored 6 goals in 184 appearances in all competitions told the club’s official website: “I am delighted to continue at Maccabi a club which has long ago become a home for me. This season, more than any one of my previous seasons at Maccabi, I will give everything to ensure it ends with a smile and another title for the collection.”
Maccavbi’s CEO, Ben Mansford, added: “Ofir’s professionalism, work rate, experience and growing leadership within the squad are qualities Maccabi has benefited from during his six seasons at the club. We are delighted that Ofir will be staying at Maccabi for a seventh season and wish him all the best.”
During six seasons in Yellow and Blue, Davidzada made 36 appearances for Maccabi in European competitions featuring twice in the Europa League group phase (17/18 and 20/21), once in the Conference League group phase (21/22) and qualified twice to the Round of 32. Davidzada won 8 trophies in Yellow and Blue: 2 League Championships (18/19, 19/20), a State Cup (20/21), 3 Toto Cups (17/18, 18/19 and 20/21) and 2 Super Cups (19/20, 20/21).
