Felicio Mendes Joao Milson is set to join Maccabi from Russian outfit FC Pari Nizhniy Novgorod, after agreements have been reached, subject to a medical, for the transfer of the 23-year-old Angola international forward.
Maccabi’s CEO, Ben Mansford, said: “We are happy to have agreed terms with Milson. We all believe Milson brings qualities that will result in him making a substantial contribution to the Club. As mentioned by Mitch at the recent press conference, additional player announcements will follow.”
Milson, who scored 1 goal in 3 international appearances for Angola, spent most of his playing career in Portugal with Leixoes and Martimo (2019-2022) before being transferred to Russia in February 2022. At Nizhny, Milson scored 2 goals in 29 appearances before a six-month-long loan spell to Turkish outfit MKE Ankaragucu last February resulted with 5 goals and 1 assist in 12 appearances.
