The Maccabi Tel Aviv FC Foundation received today a commendation by Israel President Isaac Herzog for work in the community during 2024. The Presidential award which is a joint venture initiated by Values in Sports organization was dedicated this year to activities during the Swords of Iron War. The Maccabi Foundation were commended for their social value and community work during the war.
A demanding and complex year which saw the Maccabi Foundation support evacuated residence from the south and north, families of hostages in Gaza as well as injured soldiers and fans who were murdered, killed or risked their lives on and since October 7th culminated at the President’s Office in Jerusalem on Thursday.
