History in Short
Noah Reznik was born September 3, 1933 in Tel Aviv and joined the Maccabi Tel Aviv Youth Department’s Maccabi “Avraham” squad thanks to an offer by his childhood friend Yosef Goldstein.
As a youngster, Reznik played as a striker in the Maccabi Tel Aviv Youth Department but made his mark once he moved up to the Senior Team. In 1952 Jerry Beit HaLevi started Reznik as a left defensive back in his debut match. A few years later after the retirement of Itzik Shneor, Reznik moved to the central defender position and was well regarded for his defensive prowess.
However, Reznik’s career came to an early end at the age of 27 due to a nagging knee injury but he had made his mark as one of the Maccabi greats in that short period of time by winning four Championships and four State Cups.
