The Maccabi Tel Aviv squad conducted a morning practice in the run up to Saturday's tie against Hapoel Acre
The Maccabi Tel Aviv squad returned to practice at the Kiryat Shalom training complex after three days off with five of their teammates on senior international duty. Midfielder Hassan Abu Zaid sustained an injury during the practice but returned after receiving brief medical treatment. Striker Moannes Dabbur trained separately after playing the full 90 minutes and scoring a brace in Israel's Under-21 international friendly against Belgium. Midfielder Dor Micha, Dabbur's under-21 teammate who did not appear in the match, participated in the full training. Maccabi's Zambian born Welsh striker, Robert Earnshaw, is still recovering from a muscle injury sustained in the team's last league encounter against Ashdod FC. On the other side, Maccabi's young striker Gael Margulies just returned to a full evening training after recovering from injury. Ticket sales for the upcoming match against Hapoel Acre are continuing, as is registration for subsidised transport to the match. In further match news, due to re-seeding at Bloomfield, Maccabi's matchweek 8 "Winner" League home tie against Hapoel Ramat Gan will be held at the "Moshava" stadium in Petah Tikva on Saturday November 11th at 5.15pm.
