This year, Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club will mark the Hanukah holiday with special activities for the team fans. This morning, hundreds of fans came to the Kiryat Shalom training grounds to attend a happening that included special activities, such as kicking footballs over a wall formed by Maccabi's first-team stars, kicking footballs towards specific areas of the goal, photo ops with the club's mascot Maccabinio, eating "suvganiot" (special holiday doughnuts) and many more. After enjoying the activities, the players took pictures with the excited fans, wished them a happy holiday and even conducted a festive candle lighting ceremony for the holiday.
