Head coach Oscar Garcia isn't too worked up about Saturday's results in the league that saw both Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv come out on top – I'm focusing on the match tonight and that's what I expect from the whole club

After losing their top spot in the table on Saturday to Hapoel Tel Aviv, the Yellows were making their final preparations last night for their match tonight against Hapoel Beer Sheva. Before the practice, head coach Oscar Garcia and defender Eitan Tibi arrived at the weekly press conference, where the former spoke of the first time these two clubs met this season back in October: "It was our first loss of the season. But in football you don't play for revenge, you play to win the match."

"We'll improve from match to match. It's only natural that the big clubs win and lead the table. But we'll be focussing on getting as many points as we can before the play-offs. It's absolutely critical that we stay focused primarily on ourselves because if they keep winning we have to keep winning too. So at the end of the day it makes no difference what the other clubs do."

Head coach Garcia also had this to say about Rada Pricka, the Swedish striker who will make his debut in Yellow as part of the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad for the game tonight: "He hasn't had much training but he does have something we need at the club and he'll definitely be part of the squad for the match against Beer Sheva. We'll need to be patient, he hasn't played in a month. But he has a lot of quality, quality we need at the club right now, and it's important for us to get the best from him for the rest of the season. So we'll take things one step at a time."

Defender Eitan Tibi had this to say about the upcoming match: "Every match is different. Tomorrow's match is very important for us, like every match, and like for every match we'll go out there with a lot of motivation and give our all to win. It's only January and there's a long way to go before the end of the season. We want to win every match and that's what we'll do. For someone like me who wants to be the best I'm always expecting more from myself. I'm happy things are going so well so far but there's room for improvement, both for me and the club and I hope that we'll meet that challenge."
