Maccabi Tel Aviv head coach Oscar Garcia has stated that his squad are out to get good results on the road too: "Sometimes it's just easier to win at home"

The 5-0 home victory against Hapoel Beer Sheva brought smiles to the faces of Maccabi Tel Aviv players, one of them being goalkeeper Barak Levi's, who saved a penalty. Today the young goalkeeper joined Maccabi head coach Oscar Garcia at the weekly press conference in advance of this Saturday's match against FC Ashdod. "That match was over with the final whistle", Oscar said about the match against Hapoel Beer Sheva, with his thoughts already directed towards Saturday's clash with FC Ashdod. After the conference the two headed off for what will only be a light evening training in which will  take part the injured Gonzalo Garcia, Omer Vered and Gael Margulies, who was treated by the club's medical staff.

"If we're always thinking about the previous result we'll be going in the wrong direction", the head coach said. "It was a good result for us but it ended with the final whistle and the next day we have to start thinking about the next match against FC Ashdod." He also directed his attention to the preparations for that away match as opposed to home matches: "There are no separate preparations for home and away matches. They're always the same , just that sometimes it's easier to win at home."

Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper, Barak Levi, who has replaced Africa Cup tied Vincent Enyeama for the past fortnight, also addressed that point: "I'm always very satisfied working with the trainers and the professional staff we have at the club. We're in good form at the moment and we're always helping one another out. I always get my work done, give it my all and let everyone see what I can do,  I'll take any opportunity they give me. Right now I'm just happy to move along with the rest of the squad, and it's going quite well, for me and the team."
