Goals from Eitan Tibi, Rade Prica and Maharan Radi handed Maccabi Tel Aviv their sixth successive league win in a 3-0 triumph at Bnei Sakhnin

Maccabi Tel Aviv quickly put the disappointment of last week's Cup defeat behind them yesterday with a comprehensive victory over Benei Sakhnin at the Doha Stadium 3-0. Maccabi were in total control throughout the match, with defender Eitan Tibi's maiden goal in a yellow jersey putting them in front in the first half. They added two more after the restart, one from striker Rade Prica, his fourth in four league matches, and the second from a stunning free kick from midfielder Maharan Radi.

Maccabi started the match brightly, dominating possession and probing holes in the Bnei Sakhnin defence. The first real threat came on the quarter hour mark when midfielder Maharan Radi let fly with his stronger right foot and narrowly missed the post. Five minutes later Maccabi were on the scoreboard from an unexpected quarter. Defender Eitan Tibi headed Maharan Radi's corner past Bnei Sakhnin's goalkeeper Mahmud Kandil for his first goal for Maccabi Tel Aviv and his first league goal since May 2009. Striker Eliran Atar came close to doubling the advantage but his strong effort was parried by Kandil leaving Maccabi ahead 1-0 at half time.

After the restart striker Rade Prica found himself all alone in front of Mahmud Kandil but shot high, narrowly missing the crossbar. But on the hour mark the Swede made amends when yet another cross from Maharan Radi met his outstretched leg and flew past the keeper into the net to double Maccabi's lead and register Rade's fourth goal in as many league matches. Nine minutes from normal time Maccabi scored yet again from a set piece, but this time midfielder Maharan Radi did it all by himself. His perfectly taken free kick sailed into the upper right hand corner of the net leaving Bnei Sakhnin keeper Kandil no chance and putting Maccabi 3-0 up on the night. Radi's seventh goal of the season sealed Maccabi's third consecutive away win and their sixth win on the road all told.
