Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has returned to training after winning the African Cup of Nations
After an absence of more than a month, Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama landed yesterday at Ben Gurion Airport after captaining his Nigerian national team to the championship of the African Cup of Nations. Wasting no time, he was already on the pitch this morning with his Maccabi Tel Aviv teammates at the Kiryat Shalom training grounds for their warm-up for their upcoming 23rd round league match on Monday evening against Bnei Yehuda (8.50 P.M.). During the training, for which Eran Zahavi was excused for personal reasons, Vincent was handed a bouquet of flowers in honour of his achievements in South Africa, including the 1-0 victory over African rivals Burkina Fasso that earned him and his Nigerian compatriots the African championship.
