Maccabi head coach Oscar Garcia knows that for his side Saturday's home tie with Hapoel Ramat Hasharon is not going to be a walk in the park: "It will be as hard as in the away match"
Before this morning's practice Maccabi Tel Aviv head coach Oscar Garcia and striker Rade Prica, who has scored three goals in his last two matches, held a press conference in the run up to Saturday's home game against Hapoel Ramat Hasharon (6.45 P.M.). Having not played in that game as a Maccabi player Prica could only comment on what he'd seen of the match: "I know it was raining and that it was an entertaining match and that we can from behind 1-3 to win it."
Head coach Oscar Garcia remembers only too well the first encounter and the abilities of Ramat Hasharon: " We know it will be as difficult a match at home as it was away. They're fighting for a playoff spot and have come a long way towards becoming one of the top clubs." He also spoke about the players returning to training after recent victories: "Most of the players learned their lesson in the game against Bnei Yehuda that we have to take each match on its own, otherwise we can't carry on winning. Every opponent is a difficult one and we have to realise that and give our all for every game because if we don't we'll lose our way."
Swedish striker Rade Prica also hopes Maccabi will achieve their goals, both in Saturday's match and for the rest of the season. "I hope things will go well for us, we're in a good place right now but like Oscar says, we have to look at each game on its own." He also spoke about his acclimatisation and the quality of Israeli football: "Things have been going very smoothly for me here in Israel, it was an easy start at the club and a fast adjustment. So far I'm concerned playing in Israel is no step down, the clubs here are on the same level as in Scandinavia."
