This coming Saturday night, Tel Aviv's Yitschak Rabin Square will be awash with yellow as the celebrations for Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club's 2012/13 Championship season get underway. The Israeli pop group "Ethnix" and singer Lior Narkis will raise the crowd's spirits heavenwards and a splendid time is guaranteed for all!
After having secured their first league title in a decade, the Maccabi Tel Aviv Football club invite all of their wonderful and devoted fans to join them at Tel Aviv's Yitschak Rabin Square at 8.15 P.M. this Saturday night the 4th of May to celebrate the 20th Championship in the Club's history. Tens of thousands of Maccabi supporters are expected to arrive at the square and will be treated to a celebration it is hoped will provide ample compensation for the ten long years they have had to wait for the National Championship to return to the yellow side of the nation's culture capital. A joyous occasion, full of surprises and performances by the Israeli singer Lior Narkis and pop group "Ethnix", who together with the players recorded this year's Championship song, just as they did ten years ago when Maccabi Tel Aviv last won the Israeli Premier League title. And what would a championship celebration be without appearances by the players and the professional staff themselves!
