Maccabi Tel Aviv FC have agreed terms with Ironi Kiryat Shmona for the transfer of the 24 year-old midfielder Dan Einbinder. As part of the three year deal, with an optional year extention, Maccabi Tel Aviv have agreed to the transfer of midfielder Tamir Kahlon, who spent last season on loan at Hapoel Acre, to Ironi Kiryat Shmona. Einbinder came up through the ranks of the youth system at Beitar Jerusalem and won the Youth Team championship with the club in the 2007/08 season. He made his maiden appearance for the senior squad in a 2-0 triumph over Maccabi Tel Aviv at Jerusalem's "Teddy" Stadium in May 2009 and all told made 64 league appearances for the club, scoring five goals.
Last summer Einbinder signed for Ironi Kiryat Shmona, making 29 league appearances and scoring twice. He also scored twice in State Cup competition that saw his club reach the finals, only to be beaten by relegation bound Hapoel Ramat Gan. Einbinder was also a member of the Ironi Kiryat Shmona squad that last summer competed in the European Champions League qualifiers, where they lost in the final hurdle to Belarusian side BATE Borisov and were relegated to the group stage of the Europa League, where Einbinder appeared in all of Ironi Kiryat Shmona's six matches.
