Maccabi Tel Aviv continue to practise at the training camp in Austria as new assistant Victor Sanchez takes his place on the coaching staff
After their first pre-season friendly of the 2013/14 season ended in a goalless draw, Maccabi Tel Aviv continue their preparations for the new season at their training camp in Austria. Yesterday afternoon's practice saw the first attendance of new assistant coach Victor Sanchez. The team will continue to train and tomorrow will play an additional pre-season friendly against Russian side FC Krasnodar, featuring Maccabi Tel Aviv's 2011/12 player of the season, the Senegalese forward Pape Moussa Konaté. The match will be held at the home venue of the Austrian club SK Bischofshofen, who play in the top regional league in the district of Salzburg, some 70 kilometres from the hotel where the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad are staying.
In other news, it has been announced that more than 6,000 Maccabi Tel Aviv season ticket holders have already renewed their subscriptions and secured their places at Bloomfield Stadium for the coming season. Season ticket renewals will end tomorrow (Wednesday) and sales will begin for those who put their names on the waiting list. For more information click here.
