Maccabi Tel Aviv's Under-21 striker, Moannes Dabbur, scored a brace in young Israel's 4-1 victory over Belgium in an international friendly
After stellar performances at the week-end by Maccabi players on international duty, including goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama for Nigeria, this afternoon it was the turn of Israel's Under-21s. Under the stewardship of head coach Guy Luzon, they are preparing for the 2013 Euro Under-21 championships to be held this coming June in Israel and this afternoon the young Israel team played a friendly against Belgium at the "Moshava" Stadium in Petah Tikva. Maccabi Tel Aviv's young striker Moannes Dabbur, who already has three league goals to his credit this season, continued his good form also for the national team and opened a flood of Israeli goals after their Belgian guests had opened a 1-0 lead early in the first half. Strike partner Or Baruch from Bnei Yehuda scored a brace even before the halftime whistle and Dabbur sealed the result, 4-1, with his second fifteen minutes from time.
