Some 7,500 of last season's Maccabi Tel Aviv season ticket holders chose to renew their close association with the club. Next week comes the turn of new subscribers
Now that last year's season ticket and play-off package deal holders have had their opportunity to renew their subscriptions, sales of season tickets for the 2013/14 season will go into high gear. With renewal came the added benefits of receiving a discounted price on their ticket, securing their old seats at the stadium and participating in a variety of raffle draws and prizes. As of yesterday some 7,500 season ticket holders took advantage of these outstanding benefits. One lucky subscriber will even receive a complete refund on the price of the season ticket altogether! Starting this Sunday new season ticket applicants who put their names on the waiting list will receive word whether or not they will be entitled to purchase their ticket. That answer will depend on the circumstance of each applicant, for example whether or not seats are available for the gates they have asked for.
If there are still seats available after applicants on the waiting list have received and acted upon their notices, sales of season tickets will be opened to the general public. Purchasers of new season tickets will be able enjoy the same benefits as those who renewed them: Free entrance to the home leg of Maccabi Tel Aviv's round two qualifier for the Champions League against Hungarian side FC Gyiori, preferential access to tickets for away games, State Cup matches and matches in European competitions and participation in a variety of activities and raffle draws exclusively for season ticket holders.
