Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club offer their supporters a range of travel packages to the team's upcoming Europa League tie against French side Bordeaux
After their baptism of fire in the group stage of the Europa League against APOEL Nicosia, Maccabi Tel Aviv will set out next Tuesday October 1st for France for their away leg against French Cup winners FC Girondins de Bordeaux, and will return to Israel on Friday October 4th. As there are no direct flights from Israel, the club have chartered a special flight to take the players directly to Bordeaux and are now offering the team's supporters the opportunity to join them on the plane in an exclusive deal that includes tickets to the match and a variety of packages for three nights' accommodation in the city of Bordeaux. Individual match tickets are also available, but bear in mind that the number of tickets and accommodation packages is limited.
Flight details
Outgoing: Tuesday October 1st, departure 7.30am, arrival 10.20am
Return: Friday October 4th, departure 12pm, arrival 4.45pm
Flight + match ticket package: $699
Fans not requiring accommodations at one of the hotels on offer may purchase a ticket on the flight to Bordeaux with the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad and the professional staff and a single match ticket for the terraces reserved for Maccabi supporters. For an additional €20, stadium seating may be upgraded to category 1 in the central area of the pitch.
Flight + match ticket + 3-star hotel package: $849
Three nights at hotel Appartcity Bordeaux Merignac or any hotel with equivalent rating, per person in a double room including breakfast.
Flight + match ticket + 4-star hotel package: $999
Three nights at hotel Mercure Chateau Chartro or any hotel with equivalent rating, per person in a double room including breakfast.
*All match tickets offered in these packages are located in the guest terraces reserved for Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters in the far corner of the stadium, close to the corner flag. Fans wishing to upgrade their seating to category 1 located at the central area of the stadium can do so at the cost of €20.
Single tickets
Individual match tickets can be acquired in advance and on the day of the match at the designated ticket offices at the stadium in Bordeaux. The price of a ticket for the Maccabi Tel Aviv supporter terraces is €10, for a category 1 ticket €30. More details will follow tomorrow.
