Due to operational difficulties, Israel Railway have been forced to cancel both the shuttle bus from Beer Sheva North railway station to and from Vasermil Stadium as well as the special trains they had intended to run after the match with Hapoel Beer Sheva
Despite the special supporter transportation arrangement reached with Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club published earlier on this website, representatives of Israel Railway have announced tonight (Thursday) that due to operational difficulties they have been forced to cancel the promised shuttle bus from Beer Sheva North railway station to and from Vasermil Stadium and the special trains back to Tel Aviv after the match against Hapoel Beer Sheva. So in spite of the special package deal offered to Maccabi Tel Aviv fans that included a return ticket to Beer Sheva and the aforementioned shuttle service to and from the stadium, there will in fact be no special rail or bus services offered to Maccabi supporters.
Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club are offering their fans an alternative means of getting to the Beer Sheva tie, a subsidised coach that will depart from the Holon intersection railway station at 5pm on the night of the match and travel straight to Vasermil Stadium. The coach will return to its departure point directly after the match. A return ticket costs NIS 30 and can be purchased at the ticket offices at the Kiryat Shalom training ground.
