Coach Sousa: “The fans tonight were brilliant”

Maccabi Tel Aviv head coach Paulo Sousa would like to extend his thanks to the fans who have shown the team so much support this last week. Watch the video.

"We've had a very difficult week, an important week with three different matches, three different clubs in two separate competitions. It's a very difficult week for the players, one that demanded mental and tactical proficiency and the players stood up to that challenge in style. To have won all three matches, that's fantastic, especially for our fans, and the victories belong to them in particular. Thank you for all your support throughout the season, and especially this week. Thursday (against Bordeaux) was amazing. 12,000 fans came to Bloomfield and that really helped us to get that important result together. Thank you so much, the encouragement you gave us today was amazing, amazing how you supported the players in a difficult match to get the three points and win the derby. It was absolutely brilliant, thanks to you all".
