Two of Maccabi Tel Aviv's brightest stars, defender Reef Peretz and young international midfielder Dor Micha, were guests at the club's official Facebook page for a live chat with MTA fans
Two of Maccabi Tel Aviv's bright young stars, defender Reef Peretz and midfielder Dor Micha, today participated in a live chat session with the club's fans at the official MTA Facebook page. The two young footballers answered dozens of questions posed to them by MTA Facebook page subscribers, one of them being Nicole Gutman, who asked which football player they would like to see join the squad. Dor Micha answered that as a passionate Real Madrid fan, he would like to bring in defender Sergio Ramos. Reef Peretz, on the other hand, would love to see Arsenal's German international midfielder Mesut Ozil wear the yellow-and-blue kit of Maccabi Tel Aviv. Natanel Gueta had a question about Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters and Dor Micha said that to his mind, MTA fans are the best in the entire country. Adi and Eliran Ben Shmuel focused on head coach Paulo Sousa's "rotation" of his starting eleven and to this Micha responded: "The tougher the competition within the squad, the more the players give of themselves at practices and during the matches". He added that the system is proving itself in the team's results, though the players themselves don't fancy the word "rotation". Reef Peretz replied to Edan Buzaglo's question about "changing sides", i.e. going to play for Maccabi's traditional municipal rivals Hapoel Tel Aviv. "Not a chance" was Peretz's short but definitive response. Eren Manor was curious to know whether Reef had ever contemplated joining forces with his younger brother Dor, the promising young midfielder currently featuring in the club's and Israel's Under-19 squad. "I admit that that's been my mum's dream ever since I started playing football". Shachar Basa wanted to know what Dor Micha's most exciting goal was for Maccabi: "Well, there are two really, first of all the one I scored in last year's derby against Hapoel Tel Aviv, which we won 2-0, and the goal I scored in last season's Championship match against Ramat Hasharon".
The two young MTA stars answered loads of other questions as well and at the end of the chat session, they had this to say to all the Maccabi Tel Aviv fans: "It was great fun talking to all of you and we'd like to thank you for all the encouragement and support".
