Thanks to the MTA "Every Match is an Experience" team, Maccabi Tel Aviv fans had the opportunity to display their spot kick prowess at last night's home tie against Maccabi Haifa
The "Every Match is an Experience" project, which was such a success in its maiden season last year, was hard at work again at Monday night's home tie against Maccabi Haifa. This time four "Every Match is an Experience" booths were set up around the gates of Bloomfield Stadium where fans were able, free of charge, to measure the speed of their spot kicks both before and after the match. At each of the four booths were large screens that displayed updates of the "table" of the ten fastest shots made by the participating fans. After over a thousand fans had had a go at demonstrating their kicking abilities, the final "table" was fixed and the top three "kickers" were declared the special prize winners. But no participant walked away empty handed: They all received discount coupons for the Maccabi Tel Aviv merchandise outlets around the stadium and for the official Maccabi Tel Aviv shop at the Kiryat Shalom training ground.
