Rade Prica and Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club have reached an agreement for the extension of the player's contract for an additional season
Swedish striker Rade Prica, who has scored 17 league goals in 50 appearances since joining Maccabi Tel Aviv in last year's January transfer window, had this to say to the official website after extending his contract at the club for an additional season: "I've enjoyed being with Maccabi since the moment I arrived at the club. I'm delighted that we've reached an agreement for extending my contract for one more season. Playing in front of the team's amazing fans at Bloomfield Stadium is one of the peak experiences of my career, and it is because of that connection with them, with the playing staff and with my teammates that I wanted to stay another year. And I hope the club will achieve new heights in the very near future".
Maccabi Tel Aviv sports director Jordi Cruyff added: "It was owing to his contribution to the team, his professional attitude and his special relationship with the staff, with his teammates and with the fans that the club resolved to extend Rade's contract. He's told us in the past that he's sorry he didn't meet us earlier. Well, the feeling is mutual, we also wish we'd met him earlier".
