Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club salute Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club on their sixth all-time European Championship!
After the final whistle in Milan saw Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club win their sixth all-time European Championship against rivals Real Madrid, MTA head football coach Paulo Sousa said on the MTA official Facebook page: "I wish to congratulate (head coach) David Blatt, the players, the staff and the management who today demonstrated a will to win in everything they achieved. Today, as a member of the Maccabi family, I feel even greater pride owing to their remarkable accomplishment".
MTA football sports director Jordi Cruyff added: "There is no substitute for the determination and desire to win. My congratulations for putting Maccabi Tel Aviv at the summit of European basketball. The pride felt by so many Maccabi fans both here in Israel and around the world is a result of their success".
