Every successful campaign begins with meticulous preparation. Meet MTA's potential rivals in the Champions League 2nd round qualifiers
On Monday at 1pm at their headquarters in the Swiss town of Nyon, UEFA will hold the annual draw for the first two qualifying rounds of the Champions League, and representatives of Maccabi Tel Aviv will be among the attendees. In round two 34 clubs, including the three survivors of round one, will compete for a place in round three, and on Monday Maccabi Tel Aviv will be among the 17 seeds to discover which unseeded club with a lower UEFA coefficient will be their opponents. The first leg will be played either Tuesday July 15th or Wednesday the 16th, with the return leg a week later on the opposite day. On the morning of the draw seeds and non-seeds alike will be divided into smaller groups, reducing considerably the field of Maccabi's potential rivals. But until that time all 17 non-seeds are in the mix, so let's take a brief look at what clubs our beloved lads in yellow might be facing come mid-July.
