Fran Sanchez, former youth teams coach at FC Barcelona, will be joining the training staff of head coach Oscar Garcia
Fran Sanchez will be joining the training staff of Maccabi Tel Aviv as an assistant to head coach Oscar Garcia. For fifteen years, the 37 year-old Sanchez was team coach at the FC Barcelona youth academy for the age groups nine to sixteen. During his tenure at "La Masia", Sanchez developed the talents of now renowned players as Cesc Fàbregas, Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba, Cristian Tello, Martín Montoya, Marc Bartra and Bojan Krkić.
For the past two years Sanchez served as the Director of Football for the Youth National Team of the Bahrain Football Association.
