Tomorrow the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad will head out for their training camp in Austria, where they'll play four friendlies ahead of the 2014/15 season
After a week of training at the Kiryat Shalom training ground here in Tel Aviv, the Maccabi squad will take off tomorrow for the second year running to a ten day pre-season training camp in Austria, this year to be held near the city of Graz. When they land in the capital Vienna they'll be greeted by pleasant summer weather and carry on from there by coach to their hotel in time to conduct an evening practice. In addition to daily training sessions the team will play four friendlies, three against clubs representing various domestic leagues in Austria. The first of those matches will be played on the second day of the training camp against third division side SC Weiz.
After two more days of training, Maccabi will play their second friendly on July 1st against SC Wiener Neustadt, who last season finished eighth in the Austrian Bundesliga. Game three will be played three days later on July 4th against the reserve team of local side SK Sturm Graz. Before heading back to the airport for their return flight to Israel on July 6th, the squad will round off their training camp with their fourth friendly encounter against the Ferenc Puskas Football Academy, the youth team of Hungarian side Videoton.
