A day before returning to Israel, the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad held a morning practice at their Austrian camp in Bad Waltersdorf
The morning after the final Austrian pre-season friendly against Bundesliga side Sturm Graz, which ended in a goalless draw, the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad returned to their training regime ahead of the 2014/15 season. After adjusting to the unpredictable weather of the past week, the players were greeted for their practice on Saturday morning by sunny skies. They'll get the afternoon off before returning for their final training session in Austria tomorrow morning before returning to Israel in the evening. Once back the lads will have two days to rest and on Thursday they'll play their next pre-season friendly, this time against a domestic opponent, Israeli Premier League newcomers Hapoel Petach Tikva. But before then, on Tuesday evening to be exact, Maccabi will already know who will be the opponent in their second round Champions League qualifier, after Armenian champions FC Banants host Andorran title holders FC Santa Coloma trailing 1-0 from the first leg.
On another matter, the period for renewing 2013/14 season tickets for the 2014/15 season is entering its final days and will conclude altogether on Monday July 7th at midnight. Renewal rates of season tickets are already so close to the Bloomfield Stadium subscription capacity that sales of new season tickets for 2014/15 are not anticipated. That means that current holders who do not renew their season tickets by the deadline date may unfortunately not be able secure new subscriptions. If such sales do prove possible, official notification by the club will be provided to the general public. Click here for more details and season ticket renewal.
