The Israeli champion's first season 2014/15 friendly gets underway tonight at 7pm Israel time
After arriving yesterday at their Austrian training camp near Graz, and conducting their maiden practice at their luxury training complex at Bad Waltersdorf, the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad today continued with their training routine in 71 degree weather. At 7pm tonight the squad will play the first of their four training camp friendlies against SC Weiz, who last season finished first in Austria's third division and will be playing their football in the second division starting this upcoming season.
Maccabi Tel Aviv's second pre-season friendly will take place this Tuesday July 1st against SC Wiener Neustadt, who last season finished eighth in the Austrian Bundesliga. Three days later on July 4th Maccabi's rivals will be the reserve team of local side SK Sturm Graz. The fourth and final friendly will be played on Sunday July 6th, the day the team return to Israel, and the opponents will be the Ferenc Puskas Football Academy, the youth team of Hungarian side Videoton.
