Maccabi Tel Aviv FC intend to appeal the unreasonable ruling of the Israel Football Association (IFA) disciplinary court which was published this evening, a ruling that may have a significant influence on the outcome of this year's Premier League. According to the ruling, the club are required to pay a fine of NIS 50,000 in addition to hosting their next three home matches at the opponent's home venue, i.e. Hapoel Haifa at Kiryat Eliezer Stadium, Beitar Jerusalem at Teddy Stadium and the first "home" upper tier play-off match against an as yet to be determined opponent. The ruling also requires the club to allocate 20% of the tickets for these matches to the opponent's supporters as well as transferring the proceeds of these ticket sales to the opposing club .The club reiterate that they will continue their well documented fight against racism and violence and take action accordingly.
