A special flight has been organised by veteran supporters of the club to take fans to Maccabi's Thursday night match in Cyprus
This Thursday August 28th at 8.30pm, Maccabi Tel Aviv will "host" Greek side Asteras Tripoli in Larnaca, Cyprus, in the return leg of their Europa League play-off tie. In response to the current tensions in southern Israel, a group of veteran Maccabi supporters got together and came up with the idea to treat a number of resident MTA fans of towns and settlements in those troubled areas to transportation to the match. There are, however, still places available on the specially chartered flight from "The Flying Carpet" travel agency. The price of the ticket includes transportation from the airport in Larnaca to the local Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium and back again. Here follow the flight details:
Ticket price – $199 per person
Outbound flight – Thursday August 28th at 4.10pm, arrival in Larnaca at 5.20pm
Return flight – Friday August 29th at 2am, arrival at Ben Gurion Airport at 3.15am
