The revised dates for the first two "Toto" Cup rounds have been announced
Due to the continued security situation in the country and Friday's orders from the Israeli police and home front office, last weekend's first round "Toto" (League) Cup matches were postponed, but now new dates have been announced. Maccabi Tel Aviv's first round tie away at Maccabi Netanya will now be played on Tuesday August 12th starting at 8.50pm and will be broadcast on the Israeli sports channel 5 Live+. Round two is a home tie against Hapoel Ra'anana but due to a one-match home tie ban, the match will be played at Petach Tikva's "Hamoshava" Stadium on Saturday August 16th at 8.30pm and will also be broadcast on 5 Live+. Details regarding tickets for this match will also be announced at a later date. A date for Maccabi's third round away derby against municipal rivals Hapoel Tel Aviv will also be announced at a later date due to Maccabi's participation in the Europa League play-off round starting on the 21st of August.
