Maccabi will be subsidising transportation for fans to get to Cyprus to see the return leg against Maribor

Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club are aware of the importance of the support of the club's many fans to the success of the team and have therefore worked tirelessly to organise for them travel arrangements to Cyprus at the best possible prices for the return leg of their 3rd round Champions League qualifier against NK Maribor. Among the possibilities investigated were tickets through airline and cruise ship agencies, as well as the club chartering their own plane, but unfortunately even in such cases August is in the busiest travel season when prices are at their highest.

However, the club are now happy to announce that they have managed to secure a limited number of seats on a direct flight to Larnaca and will be subsidising the prices of the ticket for those interested in making the purchase. The outbound flight will depart from Tel Aviv on Tuesday August 5^th at 17:00 and arrive in Larnaca at 18:00. The return flight will depart from Larnaca on Wednesday August 6^th at 2:45 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 3:45. The subsidised price of a ticket will be €250.

*The price of the flight ticket includes airport taxes and transportation from there to and from the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium where the match will be held.

Tickets to the match can be purchased online or by telephone at the cost of NIS 55. Tickets can also be acquired at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium ticket office at the price of NIS 50 (€10). All tickets, including those bought in Israel, will be available at the local stadium ticket office in Larnaca starting two hours prior to kick-off. A photocopy of your passport will be required to collect your ticket.

Flight and match ticket purchases are subject to the purchaser confirming knowledge of and and agreeing to the following regulations

In accordance with the decision of the club to provide free entrance for season ticket holders to Maccabi's first European match, as well as the fact that the benefit was inaccessible for the club's "home" tie against Santa Coloma, all season ticket holders who do choose to travel to Cyprus for the Maribor match will receive their complimentary ticket upon presentation of their season ticket "smart" card and a photocopy of their passport. Please bear in mind that this benefit will not be available for any of the European competition play-off rounds.
