Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club have decided to consult with certain clubs in the Israeli Premier ("Winner") League about an arrangement based on the principle of reciprocity in the sale of visitors' tickets between the teams.
The principle, which was already implemented in the first home game at Bloomfield Stadium against Hapoel Ra'anana in September, prices tickets for fans of the visiting team at NIS 50 (excluding service charges), for presale tickets only. The condition for this arrangement is the principle of reciprocity, by which Maccabi Tel Aviv fans will also be charged NIS 50 at away matches between the teams.
The outline of the proposal, intended for Hapoel Petach Tikva, Hapoel Haifa, Hapoel Acco, Ironi Kiryat Shmona, Hapoel Ra’nana, Maccabi Netanya, Bnei Sakhnin and Ashdod FC, was presented to the League Management and was also discussed by the Knesset Public Appeals Committee on September 30th.
