Last night in the "Toto" Cup final, Dan Einbinder played his first full match since recovering from injury
Maccabi Tel Aviv found the sweetest way to spend the final hours of 2014, winning the "Toto" (League) Cup. Particularly pleased was midfielder Dan Einbinder, who after being sidelined with a long injury played the full 90 minutes and made his contribution to the club's triumph: "There's nothing like it, what a way to start off 2015. And I hope this is only the start of our trophy season, it's fantastic, and I think it was a real treat for our fans as well. Today we'll celebrate and tomorrow we'll start getting ready for Hapoel Beer Sheva".

As for his own performance Einbinder said: "I got more into it as the match proceeded. I'm just back from injury and I haven't played for nearly five months. It takes time but I'm happy I helped the team". He also wished to thank the club's supporters: "The fans give you a great feeling at every match, home or away. We're very happy we could give them some joy".
Looking forward to Monday night's match against Hapoel Beer Sheva, the midfielder added: "This match is the best way to return to Bloomfield Stadium. They're a good side and we'll have to prepare for that. I'm sure the atmosphere will be top notch and that will spur us on. We'll have to be at our best".
And did he have any New Year's wishes? "I hope we'll win a lot of trophies and make our fans happy. For me I'm hoping to get a lot of playing time and perform my best. For the team I hope we'll achieve all our goals and be successful going forward".
