For the first time in Israel – an official collection devoted to Maccabi's nr.7, Eran Zahavi
The 2013/14 season championship and leading goalscorer, a "Toto" (League) Cup trophy and the all-time Maccabi Tel Aviv scoring record for one season – all among the honours harvested in 2014 by Eran Zahavi. And now the club's star midfielder can add one more success to that list: On the first day of the new year Maccabi Tel Aviv will launch a new and exclusive merchandise collection devoted entirely to his name – the EZ7 collection. It represents the first time a football club in Israel have devoted an entire fashion assortment to one of their players.
In commenting on the new collection, Maccabi Tel Aviv's Merchandise Manager Tal Mualem said: "Maccabi Tel Aviv take great pride in being the first in Israel to launch the concepot of the personal merchandise assortment. And I can assure you that this is only the first of many new anticipated developments in the club's merchandising enterprise and we urge all of our supporters to follow those developments in the future".
Among the items in the collection – the EZ7 Snap Back cap, first seen at last night's "Toto" Cup final, the Maccabi Tel Aviv Zahavi face T-shirt, the Maccabi Tel Aviv Zahavi caricature T-shirt and the EZ7 scarf. Our young fans of Maccabi's magical nr.7 will also be able to enjoy this new assortment, with the Zahavi T-shirts also available in children's sizes along with jigsaw puzzles of 500 and 1,000 pieces showing Eran's famous "pistol shot" goal celebration.
Eran Zahavi himself had this to say about the new line dedicated to his name: "To be honest, I really loved all of it. Yesterday I got a lot of feed back about the cap I was wearing (at the "Toto" Cup final). It's great to launch new items and it's important to us players as well. Maccabi Tel Aviv invest a lot in every aspect of their merchandising and it means a lot of joy for all the fans who buy it".
The EZ7 collection will be on sale at the club's official online store and at their merchandise shop at 147 Dizengoff St. in the heart of Tel Aviv.
