Extensive inspections before the derby. Fans are urged to arrive as early as possible
Ahead of the Tel Aviv Derby next Monday night, the Israeli police have instructed Maccabi Tel Aviv FC of their intention to refuse entry into the stadium of any fans found to be inebriated. Police and security teams intend to hold extensive alcohol checks at the gates as well as on roads leading the stadium. The police emphasised that fans who are found to have traces of alcohol on their person will not be allowed to enter the stadium.
On matchday there will be no sale of tickets and/or distribution of tickets as the stadium's box offices will remain closed. Opening of the stadium gates will be at 7pm and we urge fans to arrive early in order not to miss kick-off due to the extensive and lengthy inspections at the entrance.
. Maccabi Tel Aviv FC have adopted a zero tolerance policy towards any kind of racist and abusive language to the extent that terraces will be closed in case of such offences.
We wish the supporters of both teams an enjoyable sporting experience.
