Following the incident which took place outside Kiryat Shalom training ground this morning, Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club issued the following statement:
Maccabi Tel Aviv FC strongly condemn the actions of a small number of fans who decided to disrupt public order by burning flags and causing a provocation outside Kiryat Shalom's training complex this morning. In addition to the police forces who were present at Kiryat Shalom and saw the incident, the club hired security personnel to maintain order.
As the incident took place outside the complex, the club fully anticipate that the police will take responsibility for identifying and punishing the culprits.
