Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club extend their warmest congratulations to the Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball team on winning tonight (Sunday) the National Basketball State Cup after beating Hapoel Jerusalem 94-76 at the "Arena" Garden in Jerusalem. This is the 42nd time that Maccabi Tel Aviv have won the Cup, and it represents the reigning European champions' first title of the current season. Martin Bain, CEO of Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club, also expressed his felicitations to his highly decorated basketball associates: "On behalf of Maccabi Tel Aviv FC I would like to wish our Basketball colleagues congratulations for winning the 42nd State Cup. May that be the first but certainly not last trophy of the season". Yet another proud moment for the entire Maccabi family. Well done!
