Striker Eden Basat is already looking ahead, for the team and for himself: "You can count on me scoring more goals"
He may not have scored, but Eden Ben Basat played an active role in last night's important and timely victory over Bnei Sakhnin, just two games before the start of the play-offs. The striker was delighted with the win and is already looking ahead: "To my mind we don't have to prove ourselves to anyone. What we have to do is to keep working hard and when we look in the mirror to feel sure we've done everything we can to win, everything we can for the club and for ourselves of course. That's what's most important".
During the course of last night's match Ben Basat did indeed do everything to find the net, and the supporters at Bloomfield Stadium helped him all the way in that pursuit: "The fans really wanted me to score and of course as a striker so did I. But what's most important is that the team won. I feel good, I feel part of the team and of course you need to be playing regularly. But you can count on me scoring more goals this season".
