Winger Tal Ben Chaim is looking forward to seeing the team's run of four games without a win come to an end, but adds: "We're still on top and in the Cup"
With the play-offs fast approaching, the season enters its critical phase and at Maccabi the word is "We're ready", recent results notwithstanding. And in an interview with the official Maccabi website that word was reiterate by winger Tal Ben Chaim ahead of the team's 7.20pm kick-off on Saturday night against Bnei Sakhnin at Bloomfield: "On Saturday night we'll be back at Bloomfield and as always with a view to taking all three points. We may be having a little dip in form, but that can happen to anyone. Most of the time we win and with all the circus surrounding the club at the moment we're still on top. The result at Kiryat Shmona was excellent so we're still in the Cup as well".

"Nobody needs to tell us that recently our form has not been as good as it should be, or as we want it to be. But we're a strong team, we're all together on this one and I'm sure we'll be putting it all behind us on Saturday". After Wednesday's State Cup draw against Ironi Kiryat Shmona, captain Sheran Yeini said the team would have to win with character. Ben Chaim couldn't agree more: "He's got it 100% right. We have to win to regain confidence, even though we never really lost it in the first place. But anytime you go four games without a win there's a kind of special desire to come out on top".
"But it's not just that. The game on Saturday is also important because of the upcoming play-offs. So it's an important game for more than one reason and because of that it's one we especially want to win". Like at every other home match, Ben Chaim is certain the fans will make a big difference, as they always do: "We're sure they'll be there and we're sure they'll be there for us, like always. We'll just have to do our bit on the playing field".
