The annual Remembrance Day for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism was held yesterday at the Youth Department training complex. Maccabi's CEO Martin Bain attended as did Youth Department director Nir Levin as well as first team captain Sheran Yeini.
Roy Amir and Liran Sefer, two Maccabi fans who were injured as soldiers who during this summer's lProtective Edge" operation were invited to take part in the ceremony. Alongside them was Arik Sviatkovski, the brother of Ilan who was killed two years ago by armed terrorists in the Gaza Strip.
